National Science Foundation Fellowships - The Environmental Resources Engineering Graduate program has received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to fund seven graduate student scholarships per year during the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic years. The scholarships will be awarded to incoming ERE graduate students on a competitive basis.
Applicants who submit all of the necessary master’s program application materials for fall semester admission by the February 15 deadline will automatically be considered for the scholarships. Each student who receives a scholarship will receive $10,500 to cover educational expenses (e.g. fees, books, software, laboratory supplies, etc.) and a $15,000 stipend for living expenses. The awards are for a single year and are not renewable.
Students who are interested to receive more information should contact any of the following ERE program faculty members: Eileen Cashman, Beth Eschenbach, Brad Finney, Arne Jacobson, or Margaret Lang. See http://www.humboldt.edu/engineering/graduate/ere/faculty for contact information.
