Each year, over $100,000 in scholarships is awarded to University of Illinois students working to improve their communities.
Incoming freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible to receive an award of $3000. Students are eligible to receive this award only once, but may reapply as seniors for the Bailey Leadership Awards.

* Demonstrated commitment to service, community involvement, leadership, and awareness
* Demonstrated academic achievement and critical thought about the pressing issues facing the world today
* Financial Need
