Get involved in the "Engineering Biological Machines" REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) this summer! The REU has locations at MIT, Georgia Tech, and the University of Illinois. This 10-week program is full time, offers a generous stipend and travel allowance, as well as all food and housing expenses.
By combining scientific and engineering methods, students can conduct reserach in these areas:
-Stem cell differentiation
-Drug discovery and therapies
-Creating 3D cellular structures
-Engineered cell reactions
Who Should Apply?
-Any undergraduate student majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics, or related engineering field with a minimum 3.4 GPA.
-Students from underrepresented minority groups and women are strongly encouraged to apply.
-US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
