The HACU Scholarship Program 2011-2012 application is now OPEN.
HACU applauds your initiative in searching for a scholarship! We hope that we will be able to assist you in defraying some of your college expenditures. Each scholarship has specific criteria, so please review each one carefully.
In addition, all scholarship applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
1. Demonstrate financial need and be eligible for Federal Financial Aid (student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
2. Meet specific criteria for the scholarships to which they are applying.
3. Attend a HACU-member college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico at the time applications are completed and scholarship awards are made. For the most up-to-date listing of HACU member institutions, please click here.
NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award--$12,100
Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0., and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a headshot electronically to HACU for NASCAR press purposes.
Application Deadline: June 10, 2011. Supporting documents (enrollment verification form and transcript) must be postmarked no later than June 10, 2011.
