The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) and Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is a ten week program running June 1 through August 5, 2011 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Participants receive transportation to and from the program, a single room in a shared apartment, a small food plan, and a $5,000 stipend.
Applicants should:
-Be interested in pursuing a graduate degree in engineering or physical science.
-Have at least Sophomore standing.
-A GPA of 3.0 or better.
-Be a US citizen.
