Description
We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants who want to support Intel’s efforts to increase the number of engineering graduates in the U.S. by contributing to the work that our CEO, Paul Otellini, is leading on President Obama’s Jobs Council.  One of the goals of the Jobs Council is to graduate 10,000 more engineers per year by exposing students to hands-on technical job experience earlier in their academic careers to keep them excited about engineering.

When you raise your hand to be a UEE Teaching Assistant, you’ll join a team of experienced Intel engineers and program managers responsible for leading and managing Intel’s new summer intern session activities which will be offered with the new “Ultimate Engineering Experience.” As a Teaching Assistant you’ll be responsible for leading the Robotics project, as well as facilitating/instructing the non-technical skills development trainings we’re going to provide to students to enrich their career experiences.  In this role, you’ll be exercising judgment, using discretion, making decisions, developing solutions, removing obstacles, and redefining approaches all toward making the engineering experience we’re creating at your site ultra cool for these brilliant engineering students.

Required Skills
Facilitation and instructor/training experience is preferred.   In addition strong problem solving skills and creativity are required.
