The Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) is now accepting applications for its 2012 summer REU Program. This 10-week internship program gives students the opportunity to work with Cornell faculty on interdisciplinary materials research projects involving chemistry, physics, mathematics, materials science and engineering disciplines. Students will also participate in an organized program of lectures, mini-courses, laboratory visits and a variety of recreational activities. Each student will receive a $4000 stipend and reimbursement of travel expenses up to $400. On-campus housing is provided, however meals are not. The program is open to Fall 2012 undergraduates who are US Citizens or permanent residents.
