Service to Society meeting for freshmen


Dear iefx Colleagues (ENG 100 students and ELAs),

Please join us for a gathering of those interested in Service to Society next Thursday, September 15, 6:00-7:15 PM in 151 Everitt Lab.  This topic focuses on applying engineering to sustainability, poverty, societal improvements, and environmental issues such as air/water quality.  The agenda for the workshop will be:

Agenda
1. Purpose – to learn and connect
2. Overviews by
      Engineers Without Borders
      Council for Global Development
      Learning in Community
      Mali Water Project
      Bridge to China
      and others …
3. Connect similar interests (with PIZZA)
4. Explore new opportunities
